We are pleased to announce that SODRAC has received from the Secretariat of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) the news that it will recommend to the CISAC Governing Board to close the SODRAC review file, formalizing its compliance with the standards established by CISAC. This process serves to ensure that all collective management organizations in the international network of authors and publishers comply with CISAC’s governance model and comply with existing good practices, in order to achieve the highest standards of collective management.
The comprehensive review process revealed that SODRAC fully complies with CISAC’s Professional Rules and Binding Resolutions, which strictly govern the operation of global collective management organizations to ensure their transparency and effectiveness.
