Following an agreement between the Association québécoise de l’industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la video (ADISQ) and SODRAC, the framework license for mechanical reproduction rights on mechanical royalties in phonograms and videograms linking both organizations have been renewed for a period of one year until December 31, 2018.
The agreement sets out the terms and conditions that allow ADISQ member producers to reproduce the works in SODRAC’s repertoire for the commercial exploitation of phonograms and videograms. A regular rate of mechanical royalties of $ 0.085 per work is expected.
